RAP stands for “ready at printers” and is the same as ‘ex-works’ or ‘bound copy date’. This is not the date the books sail from Port. The actual departure date, depending on the destination, can be Saturday, Monday or Thursday following the date of RAP.
Send copies to both OPD and OPUK by fax or email.
You can either send them by courier (and not post) to the following address:
F.A.O. Customer Services Manager
Oriental Press
PO Box 16916
Jebel Ali Free Zone
Dubai
U.A.E
Tel: + 9714 881 1100
Or please feel free to contact us and we will set up your own FTP site for you to upload your files on.
It is accepted practice in Dubai and other Middle East Countries for parcels to be sent to PO Boxes as long as the Telephone number is on the airway bill.
Please address all invoice queries to OPUK and we will take up the issue with our accounts department.
Please address all shipping queries to your account handler in Dubai and also cc Sian in on any queries at siankenyon@orientalpress.co.uk. OP Dubai should be able to get back to you direct on these matters. If it is a query relating to UK warehouse deliveries Sian may also be able to help with these.
For any cost queries please address these to your account handler at the OP UK office.
Please address these issues directly to Dubai, however OP UK may be able to help as well.
Always book in with OPUK and we will get the necessary schedules etc on your behalf.
This is their one-day weekend and Saturday and Sunday are working days. Any query you send on a Friday will be answered and waiting for you on the Monday morning.
